Fish Folk
Well, I was going to ship some newly hatched Rainbow Shiners out today, but the weather here in Western MD is so awful… Normally I’d ship without a heat pack. Shiners do fine cool. But with overnight temps in the 30°s, and these being so young, the concern is that they’d succumb to the cold. On the other hand, heat packs can lift temps up into the 80°s, or even 90°s… which could knock them out on the high-temp side of things. Present plan is to hold off awaiting safer shipping temps. I wish there was a way to ship without over cooking or freezing. Here’s why Rainbow Shiners are worth it…
DaveO
I am currently waiting on a weather delayed fish shipment myself. As a buyer I am happy to wait for fish if the weather is bad for shipping. I'm glad your shipping standards are high as well.
