Question about balloon mollies

Hey everyone! Planning to get some balloon mollies and I watched @Irene care guide about balloon mollies. Should I be aware of anything before I go and get balloon mollies?

......Offhand, without having watched that video:

1) Your water, especially GH/KH, and to a lesser degree, PH.

2) Size/Volume of the tank they will be living in.

3) Male-to-Female ratio.

4) What to do with their fry.

5) Food you will be feeding them.

Any balloon species I’ve owned there’s been issues with their digestion. Make sure their diet includes some spirulina, veggies flakes and brine shrimp to help their digestion.

Will vegetable based food work? Like algae wafers/thins.

Possibly. Mollys will pick at the substrate some can’t say I’ve seen them go after those chips or wafers but it’s worth a shot.

Something I forgot to mention is my fish love those algae chips they pick and take chunks out of it.
