Karen B.
I know, dumb question but I have always wondered if it was harmful for fish if right after I feed them, I dose fertilizer, iron, excel, etc as I am already by the tank. Since they are eating, would these products be more harmful?
Jungle Fan
Usually I try to feed the fish, and shrimp separate from my dosing but I've done it too when I was short on time and its never been an issue, not before, or after feeding. However I don't dose in the immediate area where I release the food but tend to dose into the stream of my filter outflow.
Nyssa
I haven't had any issues with this, I dose easy green on one side of the tank near the hob filter, and feed on the sponge filter side. It's totally safe as far as I know!
