Mitch_ScruffyCityAquatics
I’ve been dealing with this for a long time now. I will periodically find a Molly swimming on the substrate. They eventually begin thinning, and their spines become stiff. They loose their ability to swim and eventually die. I’ve tried everything common including Lavamisole, but I found this guy today. Any help would be appreciated. I’ve most recently had some success with aquarium salt.

Colu
If their are eating ok and developing sunken belly it could be wasting disease as you treated with levamisole and your still losing fish I would treat with fish aids fenbendazole it's more powerful treatment it's best add to their food Edited March 17, 2022 by Colu
Mitch_ScruffyCityAquatics
Where can I find it? Everywhere I looked was out of stock.
quikv6
You can also try Flubendazole. It is effective in the water column or food, unlike Fenbendazole, which should be in the food. I have found Flubendazole to be highly effective on wasting disease....moreso than Levamisole. It is more difficult to work with, and doesn't dissolve well in water. But it downright works.
