I think once they’ve got their stripes, they’re nearly ready. If they’re with parents / adults, they may mature more slowly. One estimate is 10-months. Andy's Fish Den Posted March 15, 2022 Share Posted March 15, 2022 I couldn't give a definitive answer, but I will tell you this. I bought a group of six of them last May 2021, they had babies not long after being in the tank, I noticed babies a month or so after. Those babies have started producing babies now.
