Corbidorbidoodle
I got this little guy stuck to the leaf of some other plant I got on a Craigslist trade. It seems to be reasonably happy floating around my beta tank, but can anybody tell me what it is?
Guppysnail
That is an Asian water fern, bolbitis broad leaf, bolbitis heteroclita. ( I just call them Asian water fern but wanted to include the other names so you can look up info if you want. I have a few. They grow slow but I like them. You are lucky it’s a baby so most likely grew submerged. They don’t like the rhizome buried. They can be treated exactly like a Java fern. 1
Odd Duck
@Guppysnailis right, Bolbitis heteroclita baby. They grown from spores near the margins of a mature leaf, then eventually break away, sometimes as the old leaf is fading.

Corbidorbidoodle
The Bolbitis is doing quite well. It's not taking over the tank or anything, buy it's grown three little leaves and there's another on the way. I don't know if you can see it in this pic, but it's glued to the far side of the white rock. Behind the Windelov.
