Cinnebuns
Anyone know if this internal filter is safe for fry? I have pre filter sponges for my HOB filters but idk about this one. I could switch it with my HOB but then my fully stocked 10g would have a weaker filters so I don't wanna do that. I was thinking of using a rubber and to hold some panty hoes on the intake. Are rubber bands safe? Edited February 23, 2022 by Cinnebuns
Fish Folk
Hose is fine. Rubber bands are fine, but they eventually breakdown in tank water. What fry? Panda Corys? I use a little bacto-Surge sponge filter.
Cinnebuns
Panda cories in the immediate. Guppies in a couple weeks. I have an aquarium coop sponge filter on the other side but it's not cycled. I'm thinking for the immediate the pandas will be safe on the sponge filter side with the internal running on the other side and maybe I get a 2nd sponge filter to run for the future.
