TetraMan
Water parameters: nitrates:20 (normal for the tank) nitrites: 0 ammonia: 0 temp: 78 Tank size: 10 gal This is my betta fish niv, I’ve had him for about 2 years in the same tank with no issues. About 5 days ago he suddenly developed a kink in his side and has had trouble swimming, laying on the bottom now. I fed him bloodworms that morning and he was totally normal then that night he was on the ground. He still tries to wiggle to me when I get to the tank and tries steal the cories food, although I have been fasting him for about 4 days. I did the trio of treatments immediately but I’m not sure it did anything. Ive looked everywhere and I’m not entirely sure what it is, maybe swim bladder? Or an injury? He isn’t particularly swollen but where his “bend” is there is a small bump. Any help would be appreciated, I love this betta, he got me into the hobby
Colu
It could be an internal growth or tumor internal bacterial infection can cause deformities you could try a course of kanaplex in food if he still eating as it a more broad spectrum antibiotic treatment if he's not eating I would treat the tank
