Allan B.
I’ve been hatching baby brine shrimp in a Ziss hatchery, and I’ve had a couple batches where the water has turned cloudy—normally the water is clear. Is this cloudiness a bacterial bloom? Is it safe to feed BBS from a cloudy batch to my fish? Or should I chalk it up as a failed hatch? I’m using tap water, with 1 tablespoon of aquarium salt, 1 tablespoon of Aquarium Co-Op BBS eggs, and incubating for 24 hours at 23°-28° Celsius. I usually turn a light on after 24hours and they`re good to go.
Guppysnail
Mine is always cloudy. I always thought it was normal. I strain and rinse though so I’m not sure if it’s bad or not.
