How long can I store med trio once it's mixed in water?

I don't have a lot of space to quarantine fish. Last time I got a new one I mixed up the med trio, put only the two gallons or so I needed in, and poured the rest down the sink.

Has anyone mixed up a full batch and stored some in buckets or jugs for future use? I hate wasting so much of it.

It cannot be stored in water. Once you have added the medications to water, they need to be used. It would be better to portion the packets and get an ML dropper for the Ich-X and dose accordingly. I would advise that you discard the pre-mixed water and meds that you have stored. They won't be as effective (if at all, depending on the timeframe).

I don't have any prepared but was wondering for the future.

I don't trust that mixing the powders would evenly distribute them, so I did not do that.

For powers I'd recommend portioning dry with a mg scale and storing the rest dry and sealed from air.  Once mixed a lot of drugs degrade.  Without checking literature for a particular drug I'd guess a week in the fridge is okay if you're saving it for a second dose, though some drugs degrade fast (and some practicality never).
