A big chain with a warning on goldfish

I was perusing big chain pet store the other day so I could see the platy in person (and wow, the sunset is amazing.  Pictures don't do it justice).  And I also perused the goldfish. 

Written on the glass was a warning in big letters that the fancy goldfish can get (I forgot the measurement) long, please talk to a sales associate for any questions. 

At this same store years ago, they sold me a fantail goldfish knowing it'll go in a 10 gallon with a comet. 

Needless to say, I was happy that at least the manager knows enough to do this. I doubt it's a company wide thing.

I was at a big box a few months ago. They had common pleco. On the glass they drew a ruler and a full size adult pleco with a message about the adult size and appropriate tank size. It was nice to see.
