Fresh
I was never really sold on the black background I had added last week so I just removed it & almost immediately some of the fish started exploring the back glass which basically no fish has yet since getting them Tuesday. It's a 27g cube so I feel like this is a better move so they explore the rest of the tank
Guppysnail
Funny you mention that ijust went through the same thing. Yesterday i removed the backing on my shrimp bristlnose snail cpd 20long. The back has been there forever and needed redone. My tank is usually lively but it was on fire. Everyone was everywhere. I left the back off.
laritheloud
I was wrestling with whether to bother with a background for my 55 gallon. Maybe I'll leave it off. Edited July 3, 2021 by laritheloud
Fresh
I doubt I'll be putting it back on. I liked it more when I had piranhas but not so much with this setup
