Repashy Soilent Green - Causing Infinite Poops?

I recently made a post regarding testing new food for my goldfish. One that was suggested was Repashy Soilent Green I just gave it to my fish about 3 hours ago. They have not stopped pooping. The bottom of the tank is littered with poopy strings. one fishes poop is a good 3in some are now just pooping straight green. I followed the directions on the bottle. Is this just what this food does? or did I screw something up?

Feed a lot less than you’d think. But this s pretty standard for my goldfish for sure. Throw in some snails or plecos to clean it up for you!

With Repashy, a little bit goes a LONG way. Personally I only feed it to bottom feeders or fish that take a longer time to eat than goldfish do. 1 teaspoon of the SG gel lasts nearly a month for my shrimp colony (fed 1-2x/week).

Repashy has a "Super Gold" formula for goldfish if you want to try that in the future. I personally only know Soilent Green (for shrimp and bottom feeders) and Morning Wood (for plecos).

I fed 1TBSP of the powder mixed with 3TBSP of water. Going with the assumption of I fed them wayyyyyy too much, the tank also clouded up a ton.

Yeah that's a ton to give 😂 I bet your water cows are fat and happy though

That’s what I use to feed about 22 goldfish. Next time cut off a small chunk and freeze the rest for the next day.

How much would you feed 7 Juvenile Goldfish? They range from just over 5in all the way down to 2in.

I’d feed around 1/3 of it per day.
