Myznada08
Hey nerm fam! So I'm wanting to buy this set of Betta macrostoma juveniles. Problem is, they're bread and raised in soft water. I live in Florida so my water is very hard. I'm hoping not to chase parameters so how can I get them acclimated to my hard water without killing 200 dollars worth of fish??? Wanna figure it out before they get here. help!!!!
Administrators Cory Posted May 13, 2021 Administrators Share Posted May 13, 2021 I'm not sure I've met someone who has bred them in hard water yet. I believe you can probably keep them alive. But most people purchase them to breed. Is your intention to breed or just keep?
Myznada08
I really just want to keep them. I think it would be fun to observe the mouth brooding process but, breeding isn't the goal. Just wanna have a nice group of Bettas in a cool blackwater scape. I think they look fantastic! Not to mention I'm sort of a Betta nerd🤓
