satisfiedghost
I picked up a pair of Bolivian Rams today and I've come across a few posts saying that they really enjoy flipping over leaves to forage. I'd like to give them the enrichment if possible but I'm not wanting to tint my water (which I believe happens with the Indian Almond leaves people use). Any recommendations for something I can use to fulfill this?
Hobbit
I think I’ve heard of people using silk leaves (fake leaves made of silk/plastic) for this sort of thing. You just have to make sure the dyes are okay for aquariums. Maybe buy fake plants meant for aquariums and cut the leaves off. As far as Indian almond leaves causing tinted water—if you’re the sort of aquarist who’s doing frequent water changes anyway, the tint will fade fairly quickly.
