HuskyGuppie
Hello. We just moved Bobbi, our blue gourami into a new home. Went from 10g to 20g. Planted. The 2 diffences are we put a black background on the new aquarium and we added a small light. She pretty much hangs out down by the ferns 90% of the time. Comes out for food but seems to be staring into the black background most of the time. She used to be more social. Thoughts?
FrozenFins
If you JUST moved Bobbi, I would give him/ her some time. Just be patient. I moved an angelfish from a 10 gallon to a 40 gallon a few years back and the first few days he was fairly shy. Before he was the most personable fish I owned. After moving him he was sitting on the substrate staring at the wall. fast forward a few days and he was back to his regular self.
Yanni
I think she's just acclimating to her new environment. It's pretty normal for fish to be less active when their moved to different tanks. If she's still like that for a while, she might be sick, but normally, it's not really something to worry about
