Can german blue ram survive if ph lowers to 7.6?

In general, German Blue Rams are happy at lower pH. 7.0 is probably a sweet spot. Can you describe your situation? It sounds like your pH was _higher_ and now it has come down? Change in pH can affect fish if it is sudden and drastic. What's your particular situation?

40 breeder, gold and german blue ram, 78 degree water, using  Discus buffer twice a day to lower ph, I have aragonite In with my substrate, it's needed due to  zero alkalinity in tap water... I'm looking to use acid buffer, and alkalinity buffer together. I'm losing a fish here and there.
