  1. Tinfoil Barbs and Silver Dollars are supposed to be compatible tankmates. I've watched videos with them together. My TFBs disagree. The last time I tried this, the TFBs. would piledrive the SDs into the substrate. They both need space, so partitioning the tank isn't a real option. I'm considering just letting them work it out overnight, instead of an hour or two. I could also add hardscape and plastic plants. The tank is pretty bare. A third option is to move the barbs into the tank with the SDs and break up the territorial behavior. (not my first choice) Suggestions?
  2. I mentioned in a different forum that I put up a fish fence to keep the Silver Dollars from eating every plant in the tank. Due to a measuring mistake, it took them less than an hour to figure out how to get past it. I have two options: Fix the fence, or move the SDs to a different tank. Moving the SDs means homing them with the Tinfoil Barbs. The barbs are supposed to be a peaceful community fish, and the Silver Dollars are too big to be on the menu. Does anyone see a problem with this option?
