Guatemala??!! You have so many cool cichlids swimming around down there!!!
You will be pleased with you co-op experience. I received my first order from them last week...and literally just placed a second order about 10 minutes ago..... LOL!
Cheers from NJ, USA.
Is it weird that I've never been to a natural body of water down here? Well, other than the ocean

Neocaridina aren't the best at it but it's between them, cories and mts

I just finished my first order from the coop or from anywhere. Living in Guatemala, I had never ordered something online glad the coop was my first experience with it, can't wait to see the results 🙂

I was told at a pet shop that no longer exists that a dime-sized marbled superveil angel would be a perfect addition to my dorm room in college... in a three gallon tank. About 9-12 months later, when the bottom fin dragged on the gravel and the top fin was always out of the water, "Reggie" was donated to the science department, where they had a massive empty tank.
Was the top fin dry?

The baby 3" fire eel will do fine in my tank of several hundred neon tetras.
Well it did do just fine, 2 months later it was a 6" fire eel and there weren't any neon tetras left..... 😔I mean, they were right. He did fine when he was 3''

Change water weekly(that isn’t even bad advice, I haven’t really gotten much bad advice that I can think of atm)

I don’t think I’ll use the check valve because I’ll just have the air pump over the tanks

Don't forget check valves. Next up would be plants, and if you are on a budget, plants that propagate rapidly, like Dwarf Sagittaria:
I love that plant. Top 5 plant imo. Don't check valves just keep the water from siphoning out?

So I am shopping on the coop's online store and I think as long as I'm paying for shipping what else should I get? So far I have the usb air pump, airline tubing and airline splitters. I can use pretty much everything but keep in mind I'm working off of a Subway salary so probably around $20 extra bucks. Also also, I'll be traveling over seas with it so gotta be airport security safe. Thx

Thanks! I tried to add a video (YouTube) link and the site wouldn’t accept it.
I’d love to see it if it ends up working

Currently binging "Cobra Kai" on Netflix. It is surprisingly good and carries on the the spirit of Karate Kid really well.
It takes place in the Karate Kid universe?

I took 200 to a store so my guess is I have 400 left but I'll post a final count when I bring the rest into a store
Be sure to count every single shrimp, and count 3 times to be sure. Are you selling them all?

How many do you think there are?

As long as it's over 18" tall, I would do the 40
