Is this what a sprout looks like? Also idk why the picture is upside down. Also sorry it isn’t the best quality, I put the bulb in a hard to see place

What are the most popular states for the freshwater aquarium hobby? If I were to guess I’d say Ohio

Ah ok cool. I was just building up a list of things I'm going to need eventually, not immediately so I can wait.

Is this Standard delivery fee a new thing? I'm fine with it but I just don't ever remember having to pay for shipping of any kind when I past the minimum purchase amount with the coop.
-
Thanks but I saw talking about shell dwelling fish, like the cichlids.

I don't think I've seen it move at all.It doesn't seem to bother the shrimp. I'll try that treatment method if I find the shrimp

I'm thinking of starting a shell dweller tank in my college dorm, it'll be maybe a 20 long. What shelly would you all recommend to be maybe a fun breeding project? Multis? Something else?

Hi, so I will be going to college in a couple months and I want to make my 10 gallon as easy as possible for my parents, any auto feeder recommendations?

I'm late to the party, but if you haven't decided yet you might consider your substrate color. Blue shrimp show up nicely on light substrate, and yellow ones on black.
Oh sure. I actually just bought 50 reds on aqua bid and have dwarf pencil fish and pygmy cories on order at my Lfs so I'll just go with which ever one they can get first

It looks like 160 to me. Hard to tell though

It’s the little things in this hobby that make me love it, I saw some copepods in my tank today, I can watch new leaves grow on my plants and most recently I saw this snail try to get some air out of its shell. I know most people don’t get it but this is my favorite part of the hobby. Enjoy:) And I would really like to see/hear about the little things you have going on in your tanks

I just heard that clown killis will eat my shrimp so I guess my decision was made for me
-
Cool I guess I’ll go with yellow shrimp and I’ll feel out the tank to decide on fish stocking. And it is going to be planted pretty heavily.

Well a Japanese trapdoor is probably going to need supplemental feeding or at least more than horned nerite so there's that. but really other than sticking to 1 color shrimp for best results and less culling there's nothing to say all these things couldn't fit into a nice planted 10 gal
Yes. What color of shrimp do you like more and would you go with the killis or corycats
-
10 gallon stocking thoughts: horned nerite snail, japaneese trapdoor snail, mts, either blue velvet or yellow shrimp and either pygmy cory or clown killi. Help me decide. What shrimp should I get and which fish should I get?
-
Yes, mine would also ever go after movement
-
Small snails, daphnia and worms of almost any kind always worked on mine.

Dwarf aquarium lilies sprout?

I've had it for a couple weeks. Are the roots white? There is a tiny white thing coming out of it.
