It should be fine. I have a pair of bn that breed in a 20 with ecocomplete. The male  even burrows in it sometimes. I've never noticed a scratch on them and since they're albino I think it would be noticeable.

@quirkylemon103I've never kept a true native tank, but I'd probably try some southern red belly dace, dusky stripe shiners, ozark minnows, and rainbow or ozark darters. They aren't just in the Buffalo, but they can be found around that region.

I netted out some zebra danios from my 20 long by feeding them right next to the net. It took a couple feedings to catch all 6, but they usually are too preoccupied with the food to worry about the net.

I'm probably going to have a Buffalo River tank someday as well. I grew up about a mile from the Pruitt  access. It would be pretty neat to see this guy's stuff.

So after about 40 hours some did hatch. I started them on Saturday around 3PM and and I turned off the air today, Monday, around 8AM. It looks like there are a lot more eggs than hatchlings. Now I just need to figure out how to net them.

I was browsing my local pet store and came across a brine shrimp hatchery that was half price. I have never hatched brine shrimp before so I figured I'd give it a shot, but the low price was due to the eggs expiring in 2018. Does anyone think that they will produce anything?

I've tried using excess floating plants to feed red wigglers to use for bait in soil that I wanted to enrich for house plants.

I wasn't successful, but it is something I want to explore more.

This is something that you typically can see, but not much more than it is a tiny white speck. Let's get up close with a limpet. I'm not 100% sure how to calculate the magnification, but this is at 64x and 3x zoom on the camera.

Let's say you ordered one plant that cost $7 and it died and you received a refund for $7. You have to make a minimum purchase of $14.99, so you have spend more money on the next order to get the plant you originally wanted. Hardly seems fair. It would leave a bad taste in my mouth also if I was just given a refund.

I did some research to find a name for what I shared a video of. If you you have what I have then they are called Aeolosoma.

I'm going to say they are some species of detritus worm.  I've noticed at least three different kinds of worm in my tank, but they are hardly visible with the naked eye. I wish I knew more about what exactly they are myself. I think the one in the video above has a similar blobby end and pointy end.
