  1. Super stoked about my new fish on the way. I had some misfortune with chili rasboras and only have 3 to 4 left. So to ease my setback pain I ordered some different fish from a source that I trust (Aquahuna). Espei Harlequin Rasbora and Emerald Dwarf Rasbora and two nerite snails.

  2. Looking at getting some input on what everyone thinks about what fish would be best in a 20gal outdoor tub that I plan to overwinter as well. I never done a tub before and going to try. Having a tough time deciding on what fish I want to put in there.

Summers are hot and humid with day temperatures often above 90°F (32.2°C) on average. Nights are mild to warm in the 66°F (18.9°C) to 75°F (23.9°C) range and are warmer along the coast than the interior. Winters are mild to cold, with daily highs in the 58°F (14.4°C) to 62°F (16.7°C) range, while nights are between 38°F (3.3°C) to 42°F (5.6°C) along the coast.

    Appreciate your inputs!

  3. Looks like ICH and it sometimes can be very stubborn. But you want to treat until the last signs are gone and then at least one day after the signs are gone. I did two days just to be safe when I had it. As @Colusaid...treat the whole tank as it is not just on the fish. The cysts are in the substrate as well.

  4. Did another water change and dosed again. Today did not see any white spots on the fish. 🤗  This is the 3rd day dose. I will dose again tomorrow and probably again the following day to just make sure. Lost 2 fish through the process but I don't believe it was due to ICH. More likely from the higher temp and water changes everyday. That is stressful for them.

  5. Fluval 3.0 is a excellent high class light. I personally don't use it on my 10 gal as the nicrew is working. However, on my 38 gal I use it and love how you can customize it. Very easy to use.

I personally own fluval 3.0, nicrew, and finnex stingray. Like them all but everyone has pros and cons.

  6. Temperature has been steady at 82 degrees. Did a 6 gallon water change today and redose of ich-x. Fish seen to be handling the increased temperature and the dosing. Already have seen some white spots disappear on a few fish. So far everything is moving in the right direction.
