  1. Hey @CJs Aquatics, thanks for reaching out! I actually haven't watched the videos yet that you suggested (I haven't had the time). 😅 Do you remember which Livestream the one you mentioned is? That would be really helpful, thanks!
  2. Dang!! Nice find!!! That is a great looking ram!!!
  3. NOOOO!!! That is a bummer!! I'm so sorry!!! You're right, it probably is something like Columnaris. I'm sorry for your loss!
  4. Hey @Whitecloud09 Hey @Whitecloud09, that is kinda awesome! I do not really know any other teen fish keepers, so woohoo! And thanks about my tanks!!! See ya around! 😁
  5. Yeah, it could be. I’ve only had him like a year, though, so idk. Thanks everyone!
  6. I actually haven’t dosed fertilizer in months, I ran out and haven’t gotten more. I have my Hygger light on the second brightest setting, I believe, and it grows great from that. I have to take a lot out at least once every couple months, cause it chokes out my tank!!! 😂 I think it’s probably just plenty of light, and a lot of fish poop. I have a lot of fish in my tank, probably too many, lol. It also grows fine in my 3 gallon Aqueon kit, but not as fast.
  7. My dog is a Sheepadoodle! Old English Sheepdog x Poodle. Her name is Hazel!
  8. Well, I just found my largest and oldest platy dead. Not sure why, no nitrite, ammonia, or chlorine, and like ~20 nitrates. The only thing I can think of is that last week he got a little bit of white on his back, I treated it and then I thought it went away. he also seems to have a little chunk out of his tail fin, but it just looks like normal wear and tear. He was alive and seemingly well yesterday. Now, unfortunately, he is dead. Rip Sonny.
  9. It kind of surprises me that no one said Finding Nemo! Literally the whole plot revolves around Nemo getting captured and put in a tank!!!!
  10. Oh no!!! I’m sorry that happened. That is the worst. I’ve had that happen to me once or twice too, specifically with corydoras. 😭 I hope everything else stays alive for you!
  11. Thanks @CJs Aquatics, I will check those videos out, thanks! The fish I will be moving are 1 bristle nose pleco, 2 corydoras, 3 thread fin rainbows, 4 kuhli loaches, 4 male guppies, 5 harlequin rasboras, an uncertain amount of variatus platies (uncertain because they multiply like crazy and I may rehome some, but I will move at least 3 or 4), and some shrimp and snails. 🐌 🦐🐟🐠
  12. Hey! So, I’m moving across country in a couple months (like, a few states away from where I am right now), and I’m wondering, how do I move my fish?? I have a general idea (sort of), but I’m not sure if it is correct or wrong or what. I was thinking: Take all the plants and decor out, put them in a bucket with water (should I get a separate bucket for the plants? Or put them with the fish?), then drain some tank water and/or dechlorinated tap water into another bucket, then drain more water into another bucket and put at least the bio filter media in there, and then put the fish in that bucket. Oh, and put lids on all the buckets. Do I need an air pump for the fish? Please tell me if I’m wrong about anything!!! And my tanks are a 3 gallon (currently unoccupied) and a 20 high. Thanks in advance!
