Just matten sponge with easy flow protruding into tank. Nothing in void behind sponge.

Hi adam. all you have to do is make a hole in the mountain sponge and slide the nozzle through direct it any way you want and it's good to go. I find it works extremely well and much stronger flow than the previous PVC 45 angle connection that I had. I highly recommend it and I think it's actually cheaper than buying the PVC so it's a win-win. Hope you have luck with it good luck with your fish keeping cheers Kevin

Python hose popped when connected to ro water filter

the output was connected to input of RO Buddie system that creates ro water. so yes, backpressure for sure -
I guess as the pressure goes up when the filter gets dirtier the hose couldn't take it and burst. Does anyone else know of this happening? I guess I will have to switch to a proper garden hose to handle the pressure.

Very happy with aquarium co-op products especially easy flow kit. Amazing difference compared to air stones.

can you use easy green in caridina setup with container of fluval stratum and lots of plants with bare bottom. basically, i followed flip aquatics instructions on setting up crystal shrimp tank. he never mentioned if using ferts will disrupt the tds levels. any help appreciated.

I think you are right. Bottom line is you get enhanced growth without risk of too much co2 and no regulators etc.

i'm setoting up a tank for caridina shrimp (i'm in canada so its gonna take a while to find some) and as you can see, one of the co2 bottles is near the sponge filter and the other is on the opposite side of tank. the uptake in the left tank is much faster than the bottle further away. do you think its just boiling out the co2 or do you think the turbulence is helping to dissolve the gas into the water? cheers!

I'm going to try some soft water shrimp so I have my tank set up appropriately thanks to flip aquatics tank setup tutorial. Special thanks to Darren at April's aquariums in Vancouver for all the aquarium co-op products I was able to use on this build. It is one aquarium co-op 36 inch light over the two tanks and seems to work really well. Thanks to Corey for all his work in designing and retelling these great products. Cheers Kevin

I used a test strip on the left over water and it was pretty bad so I figured new salt every time was cheaper than the risk of wasting the eggs. -
It's a dedicated skittles tank. Just wanted to run the experiment myself and see what I got

I have been feeding guppy culls for 5 years to these guys and they never had issues. They are almost 2 ft long and ate the guppies like tic tacs so I don't think that's the issue.
