Laura Q
I need advice! I was doing a water change this morning and my hand slipped while pouring the water into my tank, causing it to gush instead of gently pour. The water stirred up some root tabs that I had just put in last week, so now there are chunks of fertilizer floating in the water. Are my fish going to be ok? Is this going to mess up my chemicals? I have a 55 gal with a dozen guppies, a dozen cardinal tetras, a bristlenose pleco and some shrimp.
KBOzzie59
Should be ok. Did you remove the chunks? Monitor for nitrates and change water as needed.
Laura Q
I removed a few chunks, but since I buried them a week ago, it was basically a powder film on top. Thanks for your quick advice and the reassurance they'll be ok!
