lefty o Posted January 6, 2021 Share Posted January 6, 2021 you could leave them in the pot, conversely they can be put in the substrate if you take care to only get the roots planted, and not the rhizome. the other common option is to tie, or glue to a piece of wood, or rock. main thing is to not cover the rhizome.
