howze01
I figured a new topic would be better than continuing in my first one. Long story short, I lost all the fish in my tank because I didn’t quarantine new fish I put in. What’s the recommendation now? Continue treating for the full course of the medication? It was a fungal infection and sadly PetsMart and Petco near me don’t carry fungal medications. All I had was Pimafix but I really kind of doubt it’s efficacy. Do I just continue feeding the tank a little to keep the cycle going while I’m waiting/treating the tank? Thanks for any help or advice!
Brandy
Do you have plants in the tank? I would use salt depending on the plant situation, and leave the tank fallow for a few weeks. If you have plants you could put them in a jar on a window sill and use salt anyway, if there aren't too many.

I added salt in yesterday along with the Pimafix. Maybe I’ll change out some water and just replace the salt. Should I continue feeding the tank a little to keep the cycle going or will it be fine for a couple weeks?
