Ronni
I have two goldfish and I recently moved them from a 29g to a 55g and since this move my goldfish won’t stop chasing the other, I’ve never seen any eggs laid (although I’m sure it’s possible they could just be getting eaten before I notice ) but I’ve heard if a male is trying to mate it could mess with the water quality and I also don’t want the fish that is being chased to get stressed out, any way I could make this stop or is it something that I just shouldn’t worry about ? Bill Smith
I would think adding another female or two would help distribute the aggression and give your female time to rest...
Rachel Y
I find that my goldies only spawn when there is a warm up in temp or major change in water quality ( big water changes etc.) you might try cooling the tank down somehow... chiller, moving the tank to a cool place in the house. I agree that adding a few other goldfish might be the answer but don’t over stock those water piggies! They are messy!
