  1. I have two goldfish and I recently moved them from a 29g to a 55g and since this move my goldfish won’t stop chasing the other, I’ve never seen any eggs laid (although I’m sure it’s possible they could just be getting eaten before I notice ) but I’ve heard if a male is trying to mate it could mess with the water quality and I also don’t want the fish that is being chased to get stressed out, any way I could make this stop or is it something that I just shouldn’t worry about ?
  2. I also have eco complete and sand in my tank my goldfish sift through it all the time with no problems ! They pick up mouthfuls and spit it out, I have two and they are 6-8 inches long so I’m sure they have much larger mouths but I’ve had them since they were small, maybe 2-3 inches and I have never seen them choke or get anything lodged in their mouth. I’ve even had very large chunky gravel with sizes they could not fully fit in their mouth and they will still pick them up and thrown them around
