Cherry shrimp and chain loaches

Has anybody managed to keep a shrimp colony with chain loaches? I have lots of sußwassertang at the bottom of the tank I want to put the shrimp in so the baby shrimp will have lots of places to hide. Thanks for any info.

I haven’t tried this one because I think your chain loaches would win. If you start with enough shrimp with your nice dense suss, you might have enough survive to keep the population stable. Maybe.  Also depends on the size of the tank, how many loaches, and how dense your plants. Most loaches are pretty determined, usually, and I doubt chain loaches are any different. Hopefully someone will be able to chime in with actual experience.
