FishyJames
I have what looks like tiny white snails that are not any bigger than a nerite snail egg. They spend the day under gravel and fill the walls and plants at night. Has anybody else had this?. I can't find anything on the internet.
FrozenFins
they could be baby snails. Do you have any snails in the tank already? Have you added to that tank recently (plants, fish)
FishyJames
I have 3 nerite nails. I have added plants and I know these came from one of the bunches. The do look like baby snails, but the stay the size of snail egg. I can't find a species of snails that stay that small. I have had these for several months and not one big one...... aquachris
Can you post a pic? I wonder if your seeing copepods?
Kirsten
A close-up picture would tell for sure but very nocturnal + burrowing in substrate + came in on plants sounds like Malaysian Trumpet Snails to me. When they get larger, they'll have conical shells like ice cream cones.
