Oh my gosh.  Is it.  I sure thought this was a triangle fin?  Is it a young male not fully developed yet?  I appreciate your input greatly.  Newbie to Platys. I have read a lot tho

Honestly, I’m not sure we can tell for sure. It’s very blurry. What we can see sort of looks like a male. But could easily be the thickened edge of the triangle fin.

Female would have a big fan shape anal fin. Males anal fin can be different size

It should be about the shape of the pectoral fin. If it comes to any kind of point, it’s male. Sorry, still blurry for me.

and if it is female, timing is hard to tell. Mine usually had a few at a time and stayed pregnant.
