Twistofer56
Hey, All y'all Great to meet you. I'm new to the forum, but not to fish keeping. Lake Tanganika Cichlids and then Reef setups were my initial interest many years ago. I've decided to come back to the hobby and set up a 125 gal. planted Amazon Basin tank with Angelfish as my center piece. I'm a traditionalist and not into all the fancy hybrids. I'll be starting my build shortly...right now it's research and planning time. 🤓 By the way...meet HRH Cooper, my 7 month old beagle. Fish Folk
Welcome aboard! Sounds like a lovely plan. I hope there's a glorious lot of Valisneria in that aquarium. Angels are fun, but I'd go straight to Discus with a setup like that. Not difficult at all. I did this in a 55 gal with two sponge filters. I can only imagine what could be done in a 125...
AAE
@Twistofer56, welcome! I think this forum is great - highly supportive and helpful folk. I am an angelfish lover myself, though I am on hiatus as I work with less aggressive fish, just for my own peace of mind. I am a huge fan of planted aquariums - I hope yours will bring you joy.
