Unemployed Fish Nerd
Hi! I've been playing with the idea of setting up a line breeding tank for my Endler's livebearers. I need suggestions because I absolutely suck at setting up tanks. What size do you recommend? Should I add tannins? Should I use a sponge filter, or something else? Tony s
Tannins are a personal choice, they won’t cause any harm. But not strictly needed. Yeah, I’d use a sponge for sure. The fry could even feed off of it. You’ll want plants for cover for the fry. Guppy grass. Hornwort. Water wisteria. Something bushy they can hide in.

Agree with @Tony s also would add Java Moss to the plant list.
