macdaddy36
I built a canopy for my tank. What should I paint it with? It needs to be white to match the stand. I'm thinking of painting it white with the same paint as the stand and then putting something on top to protect it from water. It won't come into direct contact with water because there will be a polycarbonate lid between the water and the canopy, but it will be subject to slightly higher humidity and more occasional spills during water changes than the stand. johnnyxxl
Basically any exterior grade paint, or rattle can can work
Tony s
Exterior grade deck stain. It should have polyurethane in it for water protection. And stain will penetrate better
