MRCABDRIVER
I have a female BETTA that I purchased in January of this year. She was sick when I purchased her but didn't notice at the time. She had no color however after a couple of days being in her tank the color started coming in and I noticed the white patches. I have tried everything I can think of. I have tried fritz copper safe, Maracyn Oxy, Maracyn, ICH-X, Para cleans, melafix and none of these have touched it. I'm on day 3 of using maracyn and para cleans for the second time and if anything she's worse today because i noticed more white spots on her. She's active, eating well, and swimming fine. No indication of being sick. Tank temp has been 78-80 API master kit Ammonia-0,Nitite-0, Nitrate 30ppm, PH 7.4 GH/KH API 5in1 strips 140/140 it has been up to 180/180 I'm at a loss.

I should have been more descriptive. Thank you.
Colu
That just looks like scales that have a metallic colour it's no uncommon for Bettas to change colour as they get olderI don't think that's anything to worry and doesn't need treatment Edited February 26 by Colu
Whitecloud09
There is a good possibility that is was a little bit older when you got it and is aging, my betta I have did the same thing @MRCABDRIVER. That is a very interesting color, the orange I mean, If you wait it out, I think it will be fine, said ich because I never saw this, my betta changed a different color.
