Heater error code E8

Does anyone know what to do with this heater code E8

If this is the aquariumcoop heater, my manual says it means damaged internal temperature probe.

I'd contact ACO customer service about it

I have same code e8.... I unplug it and plug it in.  Light turned red like its heating then e8.. also states current water temp..    theres probably no remedy since they dont sell heaters anymore
