Snail identification

The attached picture isn't good. I only have my cell phone and the snail is small. But is this a ramshorn? I can't tell. It appears to be perfectly round. I got it out of a tank that doesn't have ramshorns, or didn't, lol.

It looks like a baby ramshorn to me. I've always seen mini ramshorn with horizontally oriented shells (relative to whatever the snail is walking on) and the regular ramshorn as vertically oriented. But we've got some snail experts here, so hopefully if I'm wrong someone will correct me.

Well, I have baby ramshorns in other tanks, so it probably hitched a ride on me. Are mini ramshorns an entirely different species? I don't mind what it is I just want to know before putting it back, lol.

There is something like 250 species of ramshorn native to North America, so we can just settle with the colloquial “ramshorn snail” 

 

But anyway yes that appears to be a baby ramshorn snail

Thank you. I figured as much, considering I have them in most tanks intentionally, but they are recent additions and I wanted to make sure since it was in a tank, I didn't add any to. I'll go ahead and put it in the other ramshorn tank.
