Honduran Red Points

Hey guys so have a question my brother had a group of 11 Honduran red points, I had 11 msobo mbuna in my 32 gallon, my brother took those to college and gave me the red points  my first question is I want to know can I keep the group together I’ve called two local fish stores and said they are similar to convicts and keeping them in a group because honestly their behavior is great and also it says the largest they could get is 4 inches so even if all of them got that big which they won’t it would not be that bad in my opinion and the one fish store in Cleveland, agnoquatics agreed. Second question any other info on them would be great thx sorry haha my brother dropped the bomb but honestly these guys are great! Here are pics also I would say all of them are from 2 inches to almost 3 inches. Also how do you sex them male and female.

According to the web the males tend to be more colorful and boisterous. Nice tank!
