Black algae

Any ideas if this black algae is bad for my tank and how i can get rid of it.

i have danio, mystery snails, nerite snails, trumpet snails and cherry shrimp

Thanks. Definitely helps. I don’t want to put chemicals in unless I have to but I like the idea of algae eaters. Anyone know of any really good algae eaters, maybe some kind if snail I don’t own, or maybe I need more snails (many trumpet, 2 mystery and 4 nerite in 25l tank)

BBA can definitely become an issue, choke equipment, and cause some issues.  Something like hydrogen peroxide treatments are a good way to keep things in check while you try to balance out whatever is going on.  If you have any more detailed questions please feel free to ask!

This is the guide I used to dose my tank with hydrogen peroxide.

shrimp, no.  It's used to treat disease.  Snails, I don't know.  I can't say.
