Evan Posted September 16, 2023 Share Posted September 16, 2023 There are a lot of posts on the forum discussing ACO test strips vs API Master Kit but I haven’t found any discussing ACO test strips vs API test strips. I’ve tried both and found the results to be very different, especially for Nitrates and GH. I’m interested in hearing others experiences and opinions. nabokovfan87 Posted September 16, 2023 Share Posted September 16, 2023 Due to age of my strips, I ended up replacing the KH+GH tests with liquid versions. I use the strips for nitrates and nitrite though. As far as strips go, tetra I trust, API has always been hit or miss for me. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

HelplessNewbie Posted September 17, 2023 Share Posted September 17, 2023 I haven't tried any other brand of test strip, except for ACO. It was purely an economical decision, since it was the most reasonably priced. I make sure to place the strips on a rowel for their 1 minute wait period to avoid bleed-over between pads I believe there was a video about that. I do have API master test kit., however, the test strips were more convenient to use.
