Potassium deficiency - what’s next?

My Amazon Swords are developing holes in their leaves so I’m stepping up Easy Green and Root Tabs as recommended. My question is: what’s next?

Do the holes close up (seems unlikely)? Do I trim the affected leaves? Something else?

The leaves would need to be trimmed off.  This is the supplement I use for extra potassium.  I found it necessary to supplement with this when my java fern leaves were turning brown. Java fern has a higher potassium requirement and needed the extra boost, in my experience.

I heard something about plecos and I've seen snails go to town on swords. Given the holes, maybe there's more to the story?
