Prickly Magoo
I'm setting up a 40 breeder with some congo tetras and plants like anubias and java fern. I have to buffer my gh up cause its 1 degree on test kits. My ph is 8.2 and kh is 9 degrees on test kit. I don't know why my gh is so low. I have seachem cichlid lake salt could i use that with these particular plants or do i have to use something like seachem equilibrium? I know the lake salt has more sodium in it but i'd rather use that if i can cause the equilibrium is kind of a pain to get it to mix in the water. thanks for any help
Mmiller2001
Use CaSO4 and MgSO4 (Epson salt)
JoeQ
I use the premixed from nilocg because of the mixing issues associated with equalibirum.
