Goldfish with growth on eye

I acquired a bunch of common goldfish from a friend's mom and this one has a growth on its eye. It's about 10 yrs old. I decided to quarantine in a differnent tank and that with API fin and body is what local pet store suggested. If it works, how quick will I see this go away. Do I treat and then put back in tank or do I wait until it's completely gone.  Does it just get aller or will it fall off? If nothing changes I would guess it's a tumor type Growth. The fish is about 8 in long.

She had the fish in a pond in summer and winter brought in.

Can you post a picture of the sick fish it will help with a diagnosis

Looks like a benign tumor the treatment I would recommend is to get a vet to remove the growth @Wantingtolearn

Thanks.  Good to know since treatments haven't removed it .
