Neons, since cardinals detest me! Tried them twice, and both times they caught Ich and kicked the (water change😂) bucket.

From tetras to Barbs to rams to Dogfish. Very interesting

Neons in my experience don't hide as much as Cardinals. Cardinals always seem to hide when I approach the tank.

This might be off-topic, but I'd say Congo tetras, ember tetras, and even Glowlight Danios.

Cardinals cost a bit too much for a tetra.

Neons are too mass produced causing them to be weaker.
