RennjiDK
It's been about 10 days now. It seems like he's struggling to swim/stay buoyant. I know that sounds like a swim bladder issue, but he's pretty much all but stopped eating and moving. When he does move, or tries to come up for a pellet, it seems like it takes a great deal of effort and he starts to sink again after ingesting one. I've heard that they can get swim bladder issues from old age and he is up there. It's not a water quality issue, and there's no visible signs of disease. Anything I can do? Colu
If you have no ammonia nitrite low nitrates what I would do is treat with metroplex and do Epsom salt baths 1 table spoon for 1 gallon for no more than 15 minutes for 5 days as Epsom salt acts as a muscle relaxant to relieve to help relieve pressure of the swim bladder metroplex treats anaerobic bacterial infections that can cause some of the symptoms your seeing @RennjiDK
