The males have really started to color up. I'm giving them a diet of grindal worm, daphnia, and brine shrimp mainly. All that live food looks like it's really making the colors vibrant but it has caused a hybrid outbreak that I'm attempting to treat with no planeria which seems to be working.

The hydra are gone.

I noticed some male belly sliders under the Süßwassertang were coloring up but looking a bit ragged. I decided to catch them out and moved them to the display.

I put the net down, pulled the planters back, and started to scoop him up when suddenly the largest male swooped in and had him half way swallowed in no time

So I scooped them both up and he spit the little guy out. He seemed shaken but more or less ok:
