Red Dwarf Lily

Hey All,

This is my first time growing Red Dwarf Lily. In the attached picture, are these roots or the beginnings of leaves? If they are roots, I should probably put them substrate side down?

that looks like the leafy side. in a few days you should be able to tell pretty easily.

I got a bulb roughly 2 weeks ago and leaves sprouted pretty quickly for me too.  The leaf sprouts look much thicker compared to the roots.  Once you see them you can properly plant the bulb for the roots to grow.
