Hey all, long time no chat, thought it might be cool to discuss some of your projects for this new year and perhaps draw inspiration from each other, anyone have any plans or currently working on anything interesting?

I want to start a shrimp tank, and while I haven't even started to research it yet, I'd like to start a live food culture project. I'll have a ten gallon tank to work with. I've never so much as hatched brine shrimp (also on my 2023 list of things to try) so it will all be new ground for me. What's on your 2023 agenda?

I think this year needs to focus on my out of tank world so I'm aiming for a stable healthy year of seeing what happens.

If I get my other stuff sorted in good time then maybe I'll have a tank based reward 

But happy new year never to late wish people well.

I would like to take what I have and organize it for more optimum viewing and breeding, I would ideally like to breed one of my puffer species as well and to have the red lizard whiptails actually yield fry not just eggs… shrimp tanks are fun, I’ve battled it over the years but I’m pleased to say I have a colony currently going well which I will also update on

My #1 fish related goal is to balance the planted tank, or at least come close.  It took two days for the ACO light to arrive (what took you so long?😜), so I cannot use the quality of lighting as an excuse any longer.  This is going to be like starting over.

I want to establish a rainbow fish tank in my 29 gallon. It’s currently a grow out but I think a mix of the smaller rainbow species and maybe a few larger killifish.
