BettaFishCO
Hi everyone, I accidentally didn't watch the video on the rules of the forum. i get common sense rules but is there any restrictions on a breeder such as myself, asking questions and experiences on the platform? What if my lfs don't buy all my stock, can i offer it on the forum? Just wondering, thank you! JettsPapa
There is a buy, sell, etc portion of this forum, where you can post fish and invertebrates (but not plants, which is fair since ACO ships plants and they're paying for this site). Here's the site: https://forum.aquariumcoop.com/forum/19-fish-swap-buyselltrade/. The first post has the rules.
BettaFishCO
Thanks Jettspapa. I still can't believe co op is so big. I thought it was crazy he had 800k subs and to see his warehouse totally gave me extra motivation to go all in. Thanks again and thanks co op for making this forum! AllFishNoBrakes
@BettaFishCO Just a heads up, the buy/swap/trade portion of the forum opens up once you make 50 posts. May seem far away right now, but as you interact on the forum you’ll get there in no time
Schuyler
If you want to do that you should consider making a journal and showing your breeding process. For one, people love seeing fry. Two, it will get your reputation up so that the buy/sell opens up. Three, people will know the level quality of fish you have. 1
BettaFishCO
Thanks allfishnobrakes and Schuyler, I'll try and start a journal. I have to try and find a way to get better quality pics. My camera is pretty good at making things look bad. Also, if anyone has tips on getting great fish pics I'm all ears. This is the best I can do right now

This is the best I can do right now Some suggestions I've seen that help: 1) Turn off all other lights on the room. You get less glare and reflections. 2) Set the aquarium light to full brightness. The more light the shorter the shutter speed which can help with fish who refuse to sit still. 3) Take pictures directly at the tank rather than an angle. Refraction makes it hard to get a good focus.
